About Me:: I'm interested in growing food, specifically heirloom vegetables, in rooftop containers in the city. I built 30 homemade earth boxes and put them on my garage roof. I'm hoping to talk to other people about this.

It seems any small space , balcony etc would work. Keep us up to date on what is happening and how your watering system ends up working.

In Los Angeles, rooftop gardens could bring about a lot of very positive changes, but there is precious little REAL data about them; usually just a lot of negative hyperbole. The truth is though, we have to change a lot of SOMETHINGS and roof top gardens may be one of the most positive changes we CAN make.
