The veggies are not for sale, we just eat as many as possible and preserve them. We also donate to local food banks when we have a surplus. We are working on recording how much to grow for practical use so we have enough and not too much. We have too many strawberries and we could use more garlic. :-)
We've made lots of jam. Today I baked a strawberry rhubarb pie and pickled beets and carrots.
We do get plenty of rain. We don't really have to water one plants get settled in.
Marlin and I were lucky enough to travel to Tasmania and stay/work at Yorktown Organics - definitely worth a visit if you are ever in the area. They started their farm/home with nothing and now have a successful business with delicious food.
We don't have animals, I wish we had chickens but we don't own this land.
