I am a Master Gardener in both COlorado and Missouri. I have participated in Farmer's Markets, demonstrations for short course groups, planting gardens at a new school, helping to prepare home show booths, teach classes at my church, etc. I grow vegetable in raised beds in my new home in MIssouri, have a greenhouse to keep plants through the winter, and to start seeds to transplant. My one major lack of success has been in growing green/red peppers. No luck at all. I had a total of three edible peppers this year, and at the same time, had tomatoes to eat, can, day, give away, and sell. I also sold a few excess tomato plants to friends nad neighbors, which just about paid for the seed and water!
Hi Gail,
I'm happy you decided to join us in Midwest Yard Farmers. It is nice to have a master gardener in the group. I plan on having many discussions this fall in preparation of next years growing season. That is if fall ever comes.
good luck in your gardening
