Chris! You don't need chemicals! I tell you the coffee grounds work WONDERFULLY. Slugs are repelled by the caffeine in the grounds, it's toxic to them. And it's a slow release nitrogen. :) It's working great for me, it saved my basil and bean plants.

Plattsburgh!! I met my husband there in 1976 and our son was born in 1978. We were stationed at Plattsburgh AFB... small world... and you were only 7 when my son was born!!! :) It is a nice area. You must be getting frost? We are in Maine now, and tonight is our first predicted frost :(
