- Hi, Sunnie -- My problem is that I love to grow everything -- I have a hard time narrowing it down. I guess if I had a favorite combo, it would include a vegetable, an herb, a trailer and something tall. I have a lot of fun experimenting and I have a weakness for the "remainder" plants that are marked off for some reason or another. What are you growing on your balcony? By the way, you might want to check out lifeonthebalcony.com -- great site, lots of good info and photos.

Your container garden is beautiful! Yes, I think you are right...that it will be warm this weekend. Yesterday I was sick and had to stay home from work. In the early afternoon I walked out to my backyard for some fresh air and peeked at the thermometer in my little greenhouse. It was 100 degrees!! Just a little bit of sun yesterday generated that much heat! I'm very excited about having a garden this summer.

Several people have experienced difficulty putting working links into comments and blogs etc and I know it is clumsy.... so here is how you do it.....
First type the text you want to appear.... ie IAN'S PAGE
Then go back and highlight the link text.
Then hit the hyperlink button...a pictogram of a chain link.
Your browser may intervene and request permission to allow temporary scripting or some similar message. Allow it and go back and highlight the text again
