Sumitra, I would love to hear more about your school. I am friends with some folks who have started a school for the children of Yak herders in Tibet and are interested in some gardening tips. THey have specifically asked me if I can find out whether sweet potatoes can be grown at the high altitude, so I thought you might have some info. Their school is the Munsel School and website is munselschool.org and the foundation is Munselfoundation.org. Hope to hear from you soon. You and I have many interests in common and I would like very much to exchange ideas with you. Happy Day! Denise

I am pleased to read about your school and am interested in the types of vegetables and herbs you grow in Nepal, I have read recipes with the mention of Nepalese spices , what does this mean?
I have a book written by a volunteer teacher in Nepal in 1993,The Violet Shyness of their Eyes it is called , by Barbara J. Scot. I must get it out and read it again.

As a person who gardens in very little space, I am a great admirer of roof top gardens. I look forward to seeing any more pictures that you have to share!
