Hi Tar Heel, Thanks for the vote of confidence. Snowshiva is right and the site does rely on NING for it's operation. Most of the changes that happen are created by them, either because they have a problem with how a piece of code works in their...

Hi Tar heel, well mortgage lifters were not so great. Nice and big but lacking in that great tomato taste we are used to.

Hi TAR HEEL,
When do you start your fall garden, cole plants lettuce, & Irish potatoes.

Ahh, I see what you meant..to the left it's a young bay type tree that's in between mine and my neighbors house in the tiny side courtyard there. The window you see in this picture is my neighbors garage window. To the right just above the tomatillos is a bradford pear tree. They actually grew all the way up into the tree last year.

Sadly I don't live there anymore....my new backyard doesn't have a single tree

Hi Tar,
changing your photo is pretty easy, I'll talk you through it.
First you need to get the photo you want to use and make sure it's not too big... No more than 2Meg if I remember correctly. You should also try and make the photo square or it will change.
go to"My Page" i:e: your home page
under your photo you'll see an option Manage My Page or Photo
That will take you to the My settings psge with a box to put in the location of the photo you want to use. You can browse to find the photo
Once you have entered the photo location scroll to the very bottom of the page, where you'll find a save button
Save the page settings and you're all done.
It might take a few minutes before you see your new photo on your page.
Any problems and come back to me
Ian

I think the Member "Biff:" you refer to, Biff Watson is the smae Biff, my husband.

My corn was down a bit, but Biff staked it We will harvest any day. I picked the first Mortgage Lifter, but it is in need of a few days inside to ripen. The plant is so heavy we are having such a time keeping it upright. Double cages and multiple stakes. Now we have a tee pee style staking. I decided to remove some of the heavier fruit to encourage ripening and production and to lighten it up. So far, an adequate amount of tomatoes that are huge. I will let you know about taste in a few days and futre production. The Cherokee Purple is a hefty, meaty deep colored tomato with green shoulders and can be oddly shaped. At first it was the ugly duckling of my varieties and was rejected by most who were sampling my heirlooms.....more for me! But after one taste, they quickly have become a favorite. I stepped up the production this year.

Hi Tar, yes. I remember that as well, but NING have made a lot of improvements lately and I suspect that little dot took a lot of processing power for not much return... So my guess is it got pulled.
The new chat room lists everyone on line and you can go directly to their page from there.
