Several people have experienced difficulty putting working links into comments and blogs etc and I know it is clumsy.... so here is how you do it.....
First type the text you want to appear.... ie IAN'S PAGE
Then go back and highlight the link text.
Then hit the hyperlink button...a pictogram of a chain link.

Hi, I'm starting to put together a few guidlines on using the discussion forum on here.
I would be happy to hear any comments you may have. This is very much a work in progress so plese feel free to ask me to add anything you think is needed.
I don't want to make our community hide bound by rules and regulations but I think that, as the community has grown, some explanation of what is expected is needed.

Hi Everyone, I've started to collect together recipes from various posts on the site and put them all together here.
If you have a recipe you want to add on here, just post it on the site and leave a comment on my page telling me where it is and I'll go and fetch it back here.
They are organised in Contributor Order but I'm open to better suggestions!

We have only lived in our home for a few years. We have one plum tree that I just noticed yesterday has buds all over it. We've had a very mild winter in Tennessee...all my jonquils are blooming and my hyacinth, too. All the trees are budding. I still have parsley and catnip growing from last year. My chamomile has started to come out and LOTS of lemon balm is coming out, too. How wonderful that you have bushes from so long ago! Yum!!! Ann
Hi! How are your fruit trees making it through the winter? Have you had a mild winter also? We barely had winter, two little snows! One good freeze lasted maybe a week! What do you do with your Blck currants? Our favorite is jelly! I love them ripe off the bush. Theese bushes are from my Granpaps parents bushes from the late 1800's. What herbs will you do this year? Do you grow lemon balm?

You sound like me! I love my fruit trees, herbs and veggies! Our little fenced yard is big with beautiful gardens. Our ten year goal is to surround the perimeter fence with gardens. We are half way; two sides done. The corner garden is functional, enjoyable and productive. We pick fruit most summer long! We grow enough veggies to have fresh veggies. I love flowers and color too and love to sit in my garden. We have a sitting area with five seats right in the middle of the fruit garden where visitors lounge in the shade of the fruit trees and admire the gardens.mm My family ends up in my garden just to snack on strawberries or to sit in the shade of the trees!
