Well, my TopsyTurvy upside down tomato plant finally became productive. I have actually heard both success and failure stories. In my case, once I got a plant to grow without killing it, it did produce fruit but not as much as the one I nad in a r...

I would like this group to focus on kitchen herb gardens, be they culinary or medicinal. What do you grow, what do you use it for, do you make any medicinal products from your herbs?

I am obviously a real novice. I am learning by all of my mistakes. Using my topsy turvy tomato basket, I did not have a place for that steel hook to go into wood. So I used a shepards hook in the hard, but the little metal swivel would not go over...

Hi Alan. I see you're finding your way around this website. That's great! Thanks for joining The Recycle Bin group. I think we're going to learn a lot about how recycling can work in our gardens. Do share what you can when you get the chance. Thanks, and best gardening wishes! mwf

Hi Alan Jones, welcome to KGI. I'm sure you'll find the site interesting, we're a pretty friendly bunch. You'll find all manner of discussions in the forum (follow the link in the top navigation bar) and there is also a notes section where I can put stuff that may be of interest to members. At the moment there are one or two "how to" articles and a whole range of recipes. (follow the notes link)
If there is anything I can do then please, just leave a message on my page.

Forum Policy

Hi, I'm starting to put together a few guidlines on using the discussion forum on here.

I would be happy to hear any comments you may have.  This is very much a work in progress so plese feel free to ask me to add anything you think is needed.

I don't want to make our community hide bound by rules and regulations but I think that, as the community has grown, some explanation of what is expected is needed.
