Thanks Michelle,

The soda pop planters are working well for me. Too well I fear as it is still a month off until our garden soil is warm enough to put these babies in ground. I will try to cover a spot with some black plastic that I have to speed up the warming. Or maybe I will have to make some new larger planters.

... Hmmm, a friend just gave me some pails that cat litter came in…

What a great idea Clarence, and your link shows the success: beautiful, healthy pepper plants! Thank you for sharing that!

We have not been called to change this crazy world.
We are called simply to love it.

I keep all my trays if I have to buy plants from the nursery - this year, I gave a friend of mine half of my trays so she could start her own seeds with them for her first garden.

I used to get used coffee grounds from Starbucks. Each saturday morning i would collect about 10lbs of the stuff., which is an excellent source of acidic nitrogen. Great for strawberrys and potatoes, but you need to add lime if using in the compost heap.

rats, I already moved my basil out of my plastic clam container... Well, I recycle the 4 inches and 6-packs! (and gallons, and 5 gallons)

If you have photos of how you are using your recyclables, you should post them in this group under "Post Your Photos Here!" What wonderful ideas we can all share.
