Your actual patios or your patio plants? Can you please fill this discussion topic out a bit? Not sure what you're looking for.

Well my actual patio seems to be somewhat stable when I'm not drinking (not tilting) ...I bought low sun tomtatos because the sun my patio gets is all busted up by the pine trees and I can't track it minute-by-minute due to the "earning a living" thing.

One has two blooms (I planted them late) and the other has none - they are about the same size now but the one with the blooms started out shorter. I suppose that means that the location (14 inches to the right) is getting more sun.

Still....I've always liked being the "straight man" and appreciate you-alls comments :-)

It may be that the two plants are getting an unequal light source, but there are many other factors: the initial health of the plants themselves, the genetics of what allows each plant to absorb nutrients, the nutrient balance in each pot of soil (even if it is the same soil). Take pharmaceuticals -- unless the process of making them insures an equal amount of everything in each pill, one pill's effectiveness will vary from the next. It's the same with soil mixtures. I have 3 tomato plants getting everything equally: light, water, nutrients... one has 5 times the amount of fruit on it as the other two, but the fruit on the other two is growing bigger. In the final analysis, sometimes we can only say, "go figure!"

they are probably growing towards light source, try rotating/moving container every few days,if possible.

I've always wondered why people don't keep the skeletons of their ancestors. Personally...when I die...I would like to be "boiled off". Put me in a big hot boiling vat and let all the soft tissues fall away. Feed it to the hogs. That would leave a pristine skeleton (with some bleach and wiring work) and my kids could hang me up in the ancestors room. Humans have had this technology for centuries....wouldn't it be cool to take your son/daughter in the "ancestors room" and explain that this was your grandpa....he had great bone structure..but he was a bit of an @ss in life.

P.S. - I guess I got this idea when I was at Navy Officer Candidate School in Newport RI. We had to do shifts on Friday nights and when I was the OIC I never phucked with the drunk folks much - since I would likely be the same next Friday night.

There was an actual skeleton in the library..a real human skeleton. The folks would always take it out and set it on the toilet :-) For a prank. I would pick it up and look around for missing finger bones - and take it back with me to the OIC's berth. It was a small room. Interesting going to sleep with a real human skeleton beside you :-)

My husband is an old Navy man (not the clothing brand, but the career). Life on a submarine - not that easy when you're 6'5". He tells me his bunk was too short, so he opened an access door to a sonar equipment space so his feet could stick off the end. Anyway, his idea of what to do with his eternal remains is to be cremated and shot out the trash ejector on garbage day. "go figure!"
