Sacred Gardening
Also, for those interested, I lead Sacred Gardening workshops on how to infuse Earth Mother energy into your gardens and life in general... for more info on that, www.sacreddogllc.com.
But it would be really fun to create a Sacred Gardening group here on KGI, for those interested.. Anyone interested though? It could be a forum for all regardless of your faith or belief system...Surely most of us garden to connect with the earth and it's a healing process for our spirits regardless...

I am very interested in this group. Am I at the right conversation link or is there another site? I am new to veggie/herb/flower gardening in Pennsylvania. I am from Alaska and moved here a year ago. I am Alaska Native and mix of Lakota, Scottish/Irish, and Swedish decent. I am interested in learning more about herbs and their medicinal value and how to ACTUALLY use them.

Seems there is so much crossover with topics here on KGI and even beyond that, my time is tight with how much I can post on KGI.. but it is a lively group.
I've started a Sacred Gardening Group here on KGI.. let's post your questions over there and see if we can drum up some good discussion...
also, fyi -- I am blogging about the creation of a medicine garden (sacred gardening) with my Cherokee teacher over on marecromwell.wordpress.com, if you're interested.. there is a lot of info going onto that blog, too much to repeat here.

HOW TO - ADD A LINK
Several people have experienced difficulty putting working links into comments and blogs etc and I know it is clumsy.... so here is how you do it.....
First type the text you want to appear.... ie IAN'S PAGE
Then go back and highlight the link text.
Then hit the hyperlink button...a pictogram of a chain link.
Your browser may intervene and request permission to allow temporary scripting or some similar message. Allow it and go back and highlight the text again
